Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.4 Has this virus actually infected my PC? Again, the fact that the Security Suite dialog box keeps popping up alarms me. (sorry if this is a better Q for Charter)ģ. Why does that dialog box pop up constantly, with no apparent way to disable it? It started doing that right after my last system update, so maybe there is a setting? It hadn't EVER popped up at all in the first 2+ years of me owning/using this PC. How can I get this thing to stop attacking, if at all?Ģ.

I have the Charter Security Suite, apparently powered by F-Secure, and a little dialog box that keeps popping up (constantly, all day) in the lower right corner tells me that the virus has been found, blocked, removed and I may use my PC safely. I've done some reading on this virus, and it seems there are different iterations, or at least different names for it. First post here, and I'm not any kind of computer expert, so I hope I have stated my quandary clearly and sensibly once I publish this question.
